On September 1, 2026, the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) conducted a raid on a condominium unit in the Wang Thonglang district of Bangkok, following reports of illegal medical product distribution. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, officers seized 35 types of unregistered cosmetic products, totaling 1,291 items with an estimated value of over 3 million baht.
The seized inventory included Botox, dermal fillers, vitamins, and weight-loss pens, which were reportedly being sold online to various beauty clinics. Authorities initiated the investigation after receiving public complaints regarding the sale of unverified substances intended for facial injections. Officials warned that the use of such unregistered products poses significant health risks, including severe allergic reactions and other physical harm to patients.
