Thai Government Proposes Expansion of Border Fence with Malaysia

On September 1, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proposing an expansion of the border fence along the Thai-Malaysian frontier.
