Dr. Ekkapob currently serves as an assistant to Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, Paradorn Prissanananthakul.
The proposed reshuffle would involve swapping roles with the current spokesperson, Ratchada Thanadirek, who would transition to the position of assistant to Minister Paradorn. The speculation gained traction during a cabinet dinner in Songkhla on August 31, where the Prime Minister was seen posing for photos with both individuals, leading to media inquiries regarding the timing of an official cabinet appointment.
