Ministry of Transport Proposes 30 Billion Baht Energy Transition Plan

According to a report by Prachachat Business, Deputy Minister of Transport Siriphong Angkasakulkiat has announced that the Ministry is proposing two major energy transition initiatives. The projects, titled 'DLT Support' and 'Oil-to-EV Conversion,' aim to accelerate the shift toward sustainable transportation.
The Ministry is requesting a budget of 30 billion baht, sourced from the Emergency Decree on Loan Authorization, to fund these efforts. Siriphong stated that if the proposal receives official approval, the Ministry is prepared to implement the projects immediately.
