National Sports Development Fund Announces 100 Million Baht Scholarship Expansion

According to a report by Khaosod Online, the National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) is preparing to expand its educational support for youth athletes across Thailand. For the 2027 fiscal year, the organization has allocated a budget of 100 million baht to increase the number of scholarships from five to ten per province.

Ms. Phim Nakhonsri, acting deputy manager of the NSDF’s administrative division, stated that the initiative aims to help high-performing youth athletes—specifically those who have competed in the National Games and National Youth Games—balance their academic pursuits with athletic development. The goal is to provide these young individuals with a more stable foundation for their future careers.
