Thailand U-17 Football Team to Host Asian Qualifiers in Buriram
The Thai U-17 national football team has selected Buriram City Stadium to host the 2027 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers, with former player Suchao Nuchnum joining the coaching staff.
According to Khaosod Online, the Football Association of Thailand has confirmed that Buriram City Stadium in Buriram province will serve as the venue for the 2027 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers, specifically for Group B. The matches are scheduled to take place from November 8 to 20, 2026.
Thailand’s U-17 squad has been drawn into Group B alongside Iraq, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Maldives. The tournament format requires teams to compete for the top spot in their respective groups, as only the seven group winners will advance to the final tournament held in Uzbekistan from April 12 to 29, 2027. In a move to bolster the team's leadership, the association has also appointed former national player Suchao Nuchnum to the coaching staff.
