Thailand Launches 'TH-AI Passport' Platform for AI Access
The Thai government has officially launched the 'TH-AI Passport' initiative, providing citizens with access to over 30 global AI models.
On August 31, 2026, Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) and the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission (BDE) officially launched the 'TH-AI Passport' platform. This initiative, accessible via aipass.go.th, is designed to improve AI literacy and adoption across the country.
According to Khaosod Online, the platform provides users with access to more than 30 global artificial intelligence models. Those who registered in advance, starting from August 19, are now able to log in and utilize these tools. The program offers a 30-day 'creator' status to participants, aiming to support students, government personnel, the general public, and entrepreneurs in developing skills relevant to the modern labor market and boosting digital economic growth.
For residents and long-term visitors, this development signals a significant push toward integrating advanced digital tools into daily professional and educational life in Thailand.
