Toyota and TAT Launch 'Take Leave Consciously' Initiative
Toyota Motor Thailand and the Tourism Authority of Thailand have partnered to promote regenerative tourism through the 'Take Leave Consciously' project.
Toyota Motor Thailand has officially partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to introduce the 'Take Leave Consciously' (La-Pak-Pai-Rak-Lok) project. This initiative centers on the concept of 'Regenerative Tourism,' encouraging travelers to view their vacation time as an opportunity to create positive impacts on nature, local communities, and cultural heritage rather than merely minimizing environmental harm.
As the mobility partner for this project, Toyota is applying its 'Multi-Pathway' strategy to provide diverse vehicle options—including ICE, HEV, PHEV, and BEV models—tailored to specific travel contexts and regional needs. The company aims to support Thailand’s carbon neutrality goals by testing these mobility solutions in real-world tourism scenarios. By gathering data and user experiences from these trips, Toyota intends to refine future travel solutions that benefit both tourists and destination areas.
For travelers and residents, this initiative signals a shift toward more environmentally conscious travel options within Thailand. While the project focuses on integrating sustainable mobility into tourism, specific details regarding how individual tourists can access these specialized mobility solutions or which specific routes will be prioritized remain to be confirmed. The collaboration highlights a growing trend in the Thai tourism sector to align travel experiences with ecological and social responsibility.
