The park is named after two prominent peaks, with 'Khao Pu' held in high regard by local residents as a sacred site believed to be the dwelling place of a guardian spirit known as 'Ta Pu.' For visitors, the park offers unique attractions such as the 'Tarzan House,' situated in the central plains area, which provides a tranquil setting near a stream. Additionally, the 'Pha Phueng Viewpoint' in Phatthalung’s Si Banphot district, located just 300 meters from the park headquarters, offers panoramic views of the landscape. The report notes that this viewpoint is particularly popular for sightseeing between February and July each year.
