On August 29, 2026, AIS PLAY hosted a launch event at AIS SIAM in Siam Square to celebrate its role as the exclusive OTT platform for Bundesliga football in Thailand for the 2026/27 season. Rungthip Jarusiripipat, Head of Entertainment Business at AIS, stated that the partnership aims to provide Thai fans with a premium global sports viewing experience, highlighting the league's reputation for high-scoring, fast-paced matches.
For residents and football enthusiasts in Thailand, this development means that all 306 matches of the season will be available for live streaming. The service also includes coverage of Bundesliga 2, along with highlights and replay options, supported by a system capable of broadcasting 10 matches simultaneously. The content will be available for nearly 10 months.
