According to reports from Khaosod Online, the incident followed three initial explosions at the site. Upon investigation, authorities identified a sidecar motorcycle left abandoned within the mall premises containing a suspicious object.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team spent over two hours conducting a delicate operation to secure the area. Using a remote-controlled robot, the team successfully disrupted the circuit of the device, which was identified as a modified gas cylinder packed with approximately 40 to 50 kilograms of explosive material. Officials confirmed that the operation was completed without any additional injuries.
