Monk and Temple Aide Arrested in Chonburi Drug Sting

According to Khaosod Online, the investigation began after local residents reported suspicious drug-related activities occurring at a temple in the Na Kluea sub-district.

To verify the reports, investigators deployed an undercover officer who disguised himself as a monk. The officer successfully contacted the suspect via Instagram, arranging to purchase ketamine for 300 baht. The transaction was finalized after the undercover agent transferred the payment. Following the agreement, police raided the monk's living quarters at the temple, where they apprehended both the monk and his aide.
