On August 29, 2026, Parit Wacharasindhu, a list MP from the People's Party, addressed the public regarding ongoing investigations into alleged collusion during the recent Senate election. Speaking at the Parliament, Parit highlighted new evidence, including phone signal data suggesting that 40 Senate candidates gathered at a prominent hotel in Bangkok. Additionally, Panida Mongkolsawat, another key figure, alleged the existence of a financial network involving a person named Jeset, claiming that payments were structured in tiers. According to these allegations, candidates were reportedly paid 20,000 baht for participating in the process, with an additional 80,000 baht upon success, and a potential bonus of 100,000 baht if specific targets were met.
