Somluck Kamsing, Thailand’s first Olympic gold medalist and current technical advisor for the Thailand Boxing Association, has announced plans to recruit elite Muay Thai talent for the national amateur boxing team. Following the recruitment of former ONE Championship bantamweight titleholder Nabil Anane, Somluck confirmed he is in discussions with other high-profile fighters to strengthen the squad's prospects for future Olympic cycles.
Among those targeted are renowned fighters Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Lamnammoonlek Tded99. According to Somluck, Rodtang has expressed a strong desire to represent the nation and has even recommended fellow fighter Saengarthit Looksaikongdin for consideration.
