Stolen Vehicle Causes Multiple Collisions in On Nut
A man was arrested in Bangkok after stealing a vehicle and causing a series of accidents while under the influence of narcotics.
On August 28, 2026, police at Phra Khanong Station apprehended a man identified as Ekachai following a series of vehicle collisions in the On Nut area. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the suspect caused damage to several civilian vehicles and injured multiple people while attempting to flee the scene.
Investigations revealed that the suspect had stolen the vehicle involved in the crashes from the Wang Thonglang district the previous day. The owner’s mother reported that the suspect had allegedly entered their home while the family was occupied, taking both the car keys and the vehicle. CCTV footage from the residence has been submitted to the police as evidence. Upon his arrest, Ekachai reportedly admitted to using narcotics prior to the incident.
