Thai Yamaha Motor Executive Receives Thailand-Japan Friendship Award
Pongsathorn Aiumongkolchai, President of Thai Yamaha Motor, has been honored with the 2026 Thailand-Japan Friendship Honorary Award for his contributions to bilateral relations.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Pongsathorn Aiumongkolchai, President of Thai Yamaha Motor, was presented with the Thailand-Japan Friendship Honorary Award 2026. The award was conferred by Mr. Akasaka Hiroki, Director of the Japan Information Service, during the Nippon Haku event.
This recognition highlights Mr. Pongsathorn’s role in fostering cooperation, human resource development, and knowledge exchange between Thailand and Japan. With over 30 years of experience at Yamaha, he previously served in a senior executive capacity at Yamaha Motor’s headquarters in Japan, focusing on global human resource development, before assuming his current leadership role in Thailand in 2024.
