According to reports from Khaosod Online, the meeting follows a preliminary session held on August 23, where the screening board, led by Police Commissioner-General Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanphet, reviewed candidates for positions including Assistant Commissioner-General. During the August 28 proceedings, it was noted that Prime Minister Anutin departed the meeting early due to a sore throat, leaving Pol. Gen. Kittirat to continue chairing the session, which was expected to extend into the evening.
