On August 28, 2026, Chonburi Governor Naris Niramaiwong chaired a security integration meeting at Pattaya City Hall to coordinate preparations for the arrival of the USS Abraham Lincoln and its crew. According to Khaosod Online, approximately 5,000 U.S. Navy personnel are scheduled to dock at Laem Chabang Port from September 2 to September 6, 2026.
