Poh Teck Tung Foundation Supports Livelihoods in Krabi
The Poh Teck Tung Foundation has provided vocational equipment to 26 low-income households in Krabi province to promote sustainable self-sufficiency.
On August 28, 2026, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation conducted a charitable initiative in Krabi province, marking the eighth southern province to receive such support. Led by committee members Surapong Techaruwichit and Surapong Serathapakdee, the foundation distributed vocational equipment valued at 604,507 baht to 26 low-income households. The primary objective of this program is to reduce social inequality by providing families with the necessary tools to generate independent income and achieve long-term stability.
In addition to the equipment distribution, the foundation deployed a mobile medical unit to provide free services to the local community. These services included general health check-ups, vision testing with free eyeglasses, and complimentary haircuts. The event also featured recreational activities for children and youth, with Krabi Deputy Governor Niran Prabuaksorn presiding over the ceremony.
