Police Issue Second Summons for Khon Kaen Temple Access Dispute
Authorities in Khon Kaen have issued a second summons for a woman accused of blocking access to a local temple after she failed to appear for the first appointment.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, police in Khon Kaen have escalated legal proceedings against 62-year-old Chommanee Noichan, locally known as 'Pa Da.' The investigation stems from an incident on August 10, 2026, where she allegedly blocked the entrance and exit to Wat Pa Adulyaram.
On August 28, 2026, Police Colonel Yotsawat Kaewsuebthannit, Superintendent of Khon Kaen City Police Station, confirmed that Ms. Chommanee failed to report to the station on August 27 as required by the first summons. She reportedly did not contact authorities or provide a reason for her absence. Consequently, police have issued a second summons. Officials have indicated that if she fails to comply with this second request, they will proceed to seek an arrest warrant.
