State Railway of Thailand May Extend Airport Rail Link Contract
The State Railway of Thailand is negotiating a short-term extension with Asia Era One to maintain Airport Rail Link operations following the expiration of their current contract.
According to a report by Thai Post on August 28, 2026, Minister of Labour Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn has indicated that the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is preparing to request that the operator 'Asia Era One' continue managing the Airport Rail Link service for an additional period of one to three months. This move follows the upcoming expiration of the current contract on October 24, 2026.
