Airport Rail Link Operation Talks Continue Following Deadlock

According to a report by Thai Post, a tripartite negotiation concerning the operation of the Airport Rail Link has concluded without a definitive agreement. The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has requested that the current operator continue services for one additional year following the expiration of the existing contract on September 30, 2026. However, the CP Group has not yet accepted this proposal.

Siriphong Angkasakulkiat, representing the relevant authorities, confirmed that the discussions are ongoing. A follow-up meeting has been scheduled for September 7 to address the impasse.
