Thailand's Minister of Industry has inspected flood prevention systems at three major industrial estates in Ayutthaya, confirming they are fully operational.
On August 28, 2026, Thailand’s Minister of Industry, Varawut Silpa-archa, conducted an inspection of flood prevention infrastructure across three key industrial estates in Ayutthaya province. According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Minister confirmed that the flood defense systems are 100% operational and ready to manage potential water-related risks.
Currently, all three industrial zones remain under a 'green' alert status, indicating that they are being monitored but are not facing immediate danger. To maintain this safety level, the Ministry is implementing eight water management measures, including integrated strategies for water retention, protection, and drainage.
