Authorities Raid Foreign Ice Cream Vendor Ring in Samut Prakan

On August 27, 2026, Akarawut Buranaphon, known as 'Tae Acheewa,' led the 'Thai Mai Thon' group in a sting operation targeting foreign nationals selling ice cream in the Bang Phli district of Samut Prakan province. According to Khaosod Online, the group collaborated with the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) of Samut Prakan and Bang Phli police to investigate reports of foreign nationals residing in the Bang Chalong sub-district.

The group claimed that these foreign nationals were operating under the protection of influential figures who allegedly facilitated their business activities by bribing officials.
