She explained that she had met with the two employees—a husband and wife—earlier that day to discuss their resignation and the costs associated with their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for legal employment in Thailand. Following the assault, the victims filed a report with the Bang Yai Police Station and have reportedly returned to Laos, citing fear for their safety.
