According to a report by Prachachat Business, the newly opened section of the M6 motorway connecting Bang Pa-in to Pak Chong experienced significant traffic volume during its first weekend of operation. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn expressed satisfaction with the public response, noting that the route serves as a vital link between Bangkok and the northeastern region of Thailand.

For travelers and residents, the primary benefit of this new infrastructure is a reduction in travel time by approximately one to two hours. Officials highlighted that the opening weekend concluded with zero reported accidents, suggesting a smooth integration into the existing transport network. Currently, the motorway is open for free usage every Friday through Sunday to encourage adoption and ease congestion.

While the initial launch has been characterized as successful, several factors remain to be confirmed regarding the long-term operational schedule.
