Khon Kaen Launches '3M Model' to Boost Regional Health and Economy

Khon Kaen University’s Center of Excellence in MICE and Business Events (CEMBEI), in collaboration with local government, business, and community stakeholders, has officially launched the '3M Model' to drive regional growth. The initiative focuses on three core pillars: Medical, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and Mudmee (traditional tie-dye silk).

According to Khaosod Online, this framework aims to leverage academic research and local identity to enhance economic, social, and health outcomes. The strategy was highlighted during the 'SILK NEXT 2026' event, themed 'The Future of Healthy, Creative and Living Heritage City.' The project is designed to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, connecting research findings with local entrepreneurs and community members to foster sustainable urban development.
