On August 27, 2026, Asapol Santritripop, Chairman of the House Committee on Corruption Prevention and Suppression, announced an investigation into alleged irregularities regarding the 2025 local government recruitment examinations. According to Khaosod Online, the committee is examining claims that a network involving recruiters, contractors, and officials exploited loopholes in the Terms of Reference (TOR) to facilitate bribery.
