On August 27, 2026, a 27-year-old ride-hailing driver named Jakree experienced a volatile situation while transporting a couple from an entertainment venue in Bo Win, Si Racha, to a dormitory in Takhian Tia, Bang Lamung. According to a report by Khaosod Online, the passengers—a Thai woman and a Chinese man—began arguing loudly inside the vehicle during the journey.
Jakree stated that the male passenger’s behavior escalated, causing him significant distress and distraction while driving. Upon reaching the destination, the situation worsened when the male passenger reportedly struck the driver’s seat, shouted at him, and threw banknotes at his face. Despite the intimidation, Jakree maintained his composure, instructed the woman to exit the vehicle to resolve the dispute outside, and ensured the passengers reached their destination safely.
