Gulf Energy Development Announces Upcoming Bond Offering
Gulf Energy Development plans to issue four series of bonds, including digital bonds, for public subscription in October 2026.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) has announced plans to offer four series of unsecured, unsubordinated bonds to the general public. The offering is expected to open for subscription in October 2026 through eight financial institutions and the 'Pao Tang' mobile application.
Chief Financial Officer Yupapin Wangviwat stated that the issuance will consist of four distinct tranches: a 4-year bond, a 5-year bond, a 7-year digital bond, and a 10-year bond. Interest payments for these instruments are scheduled to be made every six months.
For residents and expatriates in Thailand, this development highlights the ongoing expansion of digital financial services within the country, particularly the integration of the government-backed Pao Tang app for corporate investment products. While this offering provides a new avenue for potential investment, it is important to note that specific interest rates and the exact launch dates in October have not yet been finalized. Interested parties should monitor official announcements from the company and the participating financial institutions for further details regarding the subscription process and final terms.
