Thailand Announces Table Tennis Squad for 20th Asian Games in Japan

According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Table Tennis Association of Thailand is preparing a squad of eight athletes—three men and five women—to compete in the 20th Asian Games. The event is scheduled to take place in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026.

Nattavut Ruangves, president of the association, stated that the team combines experienced players from the SEA Games and the previous Asian Games bronze-medal winning squad with new talent. The association is targeting potential podium finishes in three categories: women’s team, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Officials noted that if the women’s team successfully advances to the quarterfinals, they have a strong chance of securing another medal for Thailand.
