GULF Announces Upcoming Digital Bond Offering

Energy firm GULF is preparing to issue four series of bonds and digital bonds to the general public this October.

According to a report by Prachachat Business, the energy company GULF is planning a new fundraising initiative through the issuance of four series of bonds and digital bonds. These financial instruments, which carry an 'AA-' credit rating with a 'Stable' outlook, will have maturities ranging from four to ten years.

The company intends to open subscriptions for the general public from October 19 to 21. Interested investors will be able to purchase these bonds through eight leading financial institutions or via the 'Pao Tang' mobile application.

For residents and expatriates in Thailand, this development highlights the continued expansion of digital financial services in the country. The use of the 'Pao Tang' app—a platform widely used for government subsidy programs—as a channel for corporate bond sales reflects the ongoing integration of digital infrastructure into Thailand's capital markets.

While the issuance details have been announced, potential investors should note that specific interest rates for each of the four series have not yet been finalized. Those considering participation should monitor official announcements from the participating financial institutions or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to confirm the final terms and conditions before the subscription period begins in October.
