Three Major Thai Banks Announce Interim Dividend Payouts

Kasikornbank (KBANK), Kiatnakin Phatra Bank (KKP), and Bank of Ayudhya (BAY) have confirmed interim dividend payments, with an ex-dividend date set for September 9, 2026.

According to a report by Prachachat Business, three major commercial banks in Thailand have officially announced their interim dividend payments for the current fiscal year. Kiatnakin Phatra Bank (KKP) leads the group with the highest payout at 3.25 baht per share. Kasikornbank (KBANK) follows with a dividend of 2.00 baht per share, while the Bank of Ayudhya (BAY) has declared a dividend of 0.60 baht per share.

All three financial institutions have scheduled their ex-dividend (XD) date for September 9, 2026. This date is significant for investors, as those who purchase shares on or after this day will not be entitled to the declared interim dividend.

For residents and expatriates in Thailand, these announcements reflect the ongoing financial activity within the local banking sector. While these dividends indicate stable performance for these specific institutions, they do not serve as a broader indicator of the entire national economy. Investors should note that while the dividend amounts and the XD date have been confirmed by the banks, individual portfolio strategies should be reviewed independently. As these are interim payments, further financial disclosures regarding year-end performance and final dividend distributions remain to be confirmed by the respective banks in the coming months.
