The Football Association of Thailand has announced that the national team will field its primary players for the upcoming FIFA ASEAN 2026 tournament.
Following a 2-4 aggregate loss to Vietnam in the ASEAN Cup 2026 final, the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has confirmed that the national team will compete with its strongest possible squad in the upcoming FIFA ASEAN 2026 tournament. The competition is scheduled to take place from September 24 to October 3, with Thailand competing in Division 1, Group B, alongside Vietnam, Pakistan, and the Philippines.
According to Khaosod Online, the FAT has already coordinated with domestic clubs to ensure the availability of key players. The association had established these agreements prior to the recent ASEAN Cup to secure the release of top talent. The official list of called-up players is expected to be submitted to clubs before the third round of the Thai League.
