Thailand Launches 'HOTNET' to Advance Nuclear Energy Expertise
The Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) has partnered with 13 organizations to establish the Hub of Talents for Nuclear Energy Technology (HOTNET) to prepare for future clean energy transitions.
On August 26, 2026, the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 13 partners from government, academic, and industrial sectors to launch the 'Hub of Talents for Nuclear Energy Technology' (HOTNET). According to Khaosod Online, this initiative is supported by the National Research Council of Thailand.
The establishment of HOTNET is a strategic response to global climate change and energy security challenges. As the world increasingly looks toward nuclear energy solutions, specifically Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), Thailand aims to build a robust foundation of knowledge and specialized personnel.
