According to a report by Prachachat Business on August 26, 2026, True Corporation is currently studying the integration of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology into its network infrastructure. Sigve Brekke, CEO of True Corporation, stated that the company is in discussions regarding a potential deal with Amazon’s LEO satellite project.

The primary objective of this initiative is to eliminate signal dead zones across Thailand, ensuring more consistent connectivity. As part of this strategic move, True Corporation is considering applying for a satellite business license, which would allow the company to provide satellite-based signal services directly to users.

For residents and travelers, this development is significant as it could eventually lead to more reliable mobile and internet coverage in rural or mountainous regions where traditional cellular infrastructure often struggles.
