According to Khaosod Online, the Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) has finalized the draft of the Power Development Plan (PDP 2026). EPPO Director Wattanapong Kurovat announced that the plan, developed over 22 sessions with sub-committees and experts, is designed to align Thailand’s energy infrastructure with shifting economic, geopolitical, and governmental priorities. A primary objective of the new framework is to transition the nation toward 'Net Zero' emissions, with a specific target of sourcing at least 65% of power from clean energy.
