True Corporation and Arize Venture Group are collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance AI capabilities and are studying the potential use of Amazon Leo low-earth orbit satellites to improve connectivity in remote areas.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, True Corporation and Arize Venture Group have announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Suphachai Chearavanont, Chairman of the Board of True Corporation, stated that the partnership focuses on advancing Level 5 artificial intelligence applications to integrate cloud-AI technology across various sectors, including retail and e-commerce.
Beyond AI development, the collaboration aims to modernize True’s telecommunications infrastructure. The companies are working to enhance cloud management systems to improve application flexibility, security, and IT governance. This includes the implementation of predictive maintenance systems and real-time network troubleshooting tools designed to optimize service reliability.
Furthermore, True Corporation is currently studying the feasibility of integrating Amazon Leo, a low-earth orbit satellite service, into its network. This initiative is intended to extend internet connectivity to remote and underserved regions of Thailand. For residents and travelers, this development suggests a potential future improvement in network coverage and service stability, particularly in rural or mountainous areas where traditional infrastructure is limited. While the integration of AI and cloud management is underway, the deployment of Amazon Leo remains in the study phase, with no confirmed timeline for implementation or service availability.
