Ministry of Commerce Launches Relief Efforts for Nan Flood Victims
Deputy Prime Minister Supajee Suthumpun has initiated the 'Thai Helping Thai' campaign to provide essential goods to flood-affected residents in Nan province.
On August 26, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supajee Suthumpun, alongside Ministry officials, oversaw the packing and dispatch of relief supplies destined for flood-stricken areas in Nan province. During the event at the Department of Internal Trade, officials confirmed that 1,000 additional relief bags were prepared, bringing the total number of distributed kits to 1,500, alongside various other donated items. Furthermore, the government is currently developing recovery measures to support local entrepreneurs and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) that have suffered losses due to the disaster.
