Tragic Discovery of Missing Boy in Chao Phraya River

On August 25, 2026, authorities in Chai Nat province recovered the body of a nine-year-old boy from the Chao Phraya River. According to Khaosod Online, the child had been reported missing two days earlier after falling into the river in Nakhon Sawan province. The body was discovered caught in a patch of water hyacinths near Tambon Thammaram, Mueang Chai Nat district, having drifted over 25 kilometers from the site of the incident.
