Gold Shop Owner Accused of Assaulting Customers in Pathum Thani

According to reports from Khaosod Online, a series of confrontations has emerged involving a gold shop owner in the Navanakorn area of Pathum Thani province. Multiple victims have come forward alleging that the shop owner verbally abused and physically attacked them while they were using an ATM located in front of the establishment.

One victim, identified as Mr. Mongkolchai, stated that he was withdrawing 3,000 baht for his employees when the shop owner confronted him, claiming he was speaking too loudly on his phone. Despite Mr. Mongkolchai’s attempts to de-escalate the situation, the dispute reportedly escalated into a physical altercation at his vehicle. Mr. Mongkolchai claims he sustained injuries to his dialysis access site, resulting in approximately 8,000 baht in medical expenses. He has since filed a formal complaint with the Khlong Luang Police Station and provided medical documentation.
