According to a report by Khaosod English, local authorities in the Prakhon Chai district of Buriram province arrested a 32-year-old Ukrainian national on August 24, 2026. The incident began at a roadside restaurant, where witnesses reported that the man had been consuming alcohol and placed an object resembling a handgun on the table. Following this, he reportedly departed the scene in a BMW.
Police were notified of the situation at approximately 20:00. Upon investigation, it was determined that the weapon in question was a BB gun.
