Hua Seng Heng and KBank Launch USD-Based Gold Trading on K PLUS
Gold dealer Hua Seng Heng has partnered with Kasikornbank (KBank) to enable real-time gold trading in USD directly through the K PLUS mobile application.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, gold trading company Hua Seng Heng has entered a strategic partnership with Kasikornbank (KBank) to integrate gold trading services into the K PLUS mobile application. This collaboration allows users to buy and sell gold using US Dollars (USD) starting from a minimum of 10 USD, with no transaction fees.
To utilize this service, customers must open a 'K PLUS Global Savings' account to manage currency exchange. The platform supports real-time trading for both 99.99% and 96.5% purity gold. A notable feature of this integration is that USD funds held in the savings account while waiting for market opportunities earn an interest rate of 2.25% per annum. Additionally, the service supports gold savings plans for 96.5% purity gold.
For residents and investors in Thailand, this development simplifies the process of diversifying portfolios by removing the need to switch between different applications. It offers a more integrated digital experience for managing precious metal investments alongside banking services. While the service is currently active, potential users should verify the specific terms and conditions regarding the 'K PLUS Global Savings' account and any potential fluctuations in exchange rates that may impact the total cost of gold acquisition. Further details on long-term account requirements remain subject to the bank's current policies.
