Ratch Group Announces Expansion Plans for Power Generation and Data Centers

According to Prachachat Business, Ratch Group has announced its intention to participate in power plant auctions aligned with Thailand's new Power Development Plan (PDP). The company is focusing on a mix of renewable energy and natural gas projects. A significant component of their strategy involves allocating 10 billion baht to provide energy solutions for data centers, with plans to supply 123 megawatts from existing power plants to support this sector.
Beyond traditional power generation, the company is diversifying its portfolio into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), biomass energy, and Small Modular Reactors (SMR). Ratch Group has set a target to reach an EBITDA of 15 billion baht as part of its broader growth strategy.
