DITP Awards Thailand Trust Mark to 22 Local Businesses
The Department of International Trade Promotion has recognized 22 Thai entrepreneurs with the T Mark certification to boost global market standards.
On August 24, 2026, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce held a ceremony to present the Thailand Trust Mark (T Mark) to 22 selected Thai entrepreneurs. The event, held at the Burachat Chaiyakorn Room within the Ministry of Commerce, was presided over by Dr. Kirida Bhaopichitr, Assistant to the Minister of Commerce.
The T Mark serves as a quality assurance symbol, intended to certify that these businesses meet international standards for production, environmental responsibility, and social accountability. By highlighting these companies, the DITP aims to enhance the reputation of Thai goods in the global marketplace.
For residents and travelers, this initiative is significant as it helps identify high-quality, locally produced goods that adhere to rigorous standards. Supporting T Mark-certified businesses ensures that consumers are purchasing products backed by official government recognition for excellence and ethical practices.
While the DITP has confirmed the list of 22 recipients for the 2026 cycle, further details regarding the specific criteria for future applicants or the long-term impact of this certification on local export volumes remain to be seen. The ministry continues to promote these standards to strengthen the competitiveness of Thai enterprises on the international stage.
