Couple in Nakhon Nayok Reports Two Pythons Entering Home and Vehicle
A married couple in Nakhon Nayok sought emergency assistance after discovering two pythons in their residence and pickup truck.
On August 23, 2026, a married couple in Nakhon Nayok province contacted the Sawang Ariya Nakhon Nayok rescue center after discovering two pythons on their property. According to a report by Khaosod Online, the incident occurred at a residence located in the Mahasap alley, opposite the Nakhon Nayok City Municipality.
The homeowners, a 64-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman, first identified a 20-inch python coiled around the iron bars near their bathroom. Rescue personnel successfully captured this snake using specialized equipment. Shortly thereafter, the couple reported a second python of similar size had entered the engine compartment of their Isuzu pickup truck, which bears the Bangkok license plate 2580.
While the first snake was secured, rescue teams faced difficulty locating the second python within the vehicle's engine bay. For residents and travelers in Thailand, such incidents serve as a reminder to remain vigilant regarding wildlife, particularly during the rainy season when snakes may seek shelter in dry, enclosed spaces like homes or vehicles. It is recommended to keep vehicle hoods closed and to contact professional rescue services rather than attempting to handle snakes personally. As of the latest report, the search for the second python inside the truck remains ongoing.
