Nakhon Sawan to Host Thailand Snooker Championship
Top Thai snooker professionals will compete for a 1.5 million baht prize pool in Nakhon Sawan from September 1–6.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the province of Nakhon Sawan is preparing to host the Thailand Snooker Championship. The event is a collaborative effort between the Nakhon Sawan Provincial Sports Association, the Nakhon Sawan Municipality, and the Billiard Sports Association of Thailand. The competition will take place in a 4,000-seat gymnasium, featuring 32 of the country's top snooker players competing for a total prize purse of 1.5 million baht.
The tournament is set to run from September 1 to September 6. The press conference, presided over by Nakhon Sawan Governor Chutiporn Seshang, highlighted the participation of prominent figures in the sport, including professional players Noppon Saengkham, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, and Ratchapol Pu-Ob-Orm (Tong Sitthichai), as well as women's world champion Panchaya Channoi.
