Following severe flooding, flash floods, and landslides in Nan Province, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul has directed government agencies to accelerate relief efforts. According to Deputy Government Spokesperson Ploy-Talay Laksameesangchan, the goal is to restore normalcy for affected residents as quickly as possible through proactive damage assessment and rapid compensation payments.

To facilitate this, the Comptroller General's Department has approved an additional 100 million baht in emergency funds for the Nan provincial governor to manage disaster relief. Flood victims are no longer required to submit physical copies of identification cards, house registrations, or photographic evidence of flood damage.
