A 60-year-old professional snooker player known as 'Tek Hua Hin' was killed in a collision with a truck in Bangkok early Thursday morning.
On the morning of August 22, 2026, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the inbound Kanchanaphisek Road in the Bang Khae district of Bangkok. According to reports from Khaosod Online, local police from Phetkasem Station were notified of the incident at approximately 4:42 a.m. Upon arrival near the Chao Mae Thapthim Lak Song shrine, authorities discovered a motorcycle overturned and the body of a 60-year-old man, identified as Mr. Worawit, a professional snooker player widely known by the nickname 'Tek Hua Hin.'
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was struck by a truck, which fled the scene. The impact resulted in fatal injuries to the victim. Emergency responders from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation assisted at the scene, and the body was subsequently transported to Siriraj Hospital for a formal autopsy.
