Deputy Government Spokesperson Lalida Periwattana stated that the Office of the National Water Resources (ONWR) has identified four districts requiring heightened vigilance: Pua, Song Khwae, Chiang Klang, and Thung Chang. Forecasts suggest these areas may experience 50–70 mm of accumulated rainfall over a 24-hour period. While this expected volume is lower than the recent heavy downpours, officials remain cautious because the soil in some areas remains saturated from previous rain, increasing the risk of related incidents.
